Field Preparation The land is prepared by giving 5-6 ploughing.
Compost or FYM @ 150-200 q/ha should be spread and mixed well in the soil at least 15-20 days before sowing.
Seed Treatment / Rate / Timing / Chemical Seeds are treated with Thiram 2 g per Kg of seeds.

Transplanting Transplanting should be done 25-30 days after sowing.
Fertilizer Dose with Timing • Total N:P:K requirement @ 120:60:80 kg per acre.
